Acting Classes: New Session begins March 26

Register now for our next fun-filled session of acting classes at the Kingston Christian School, 1212 Woodbine Road.

Classes run Saturdays until June 11. Juniors from age 6 -10, Intermediate (11 & 12 years) and teens. Our end of class show will be on June 11.

Our Stage Right courses teach beginning to advanced theatre arts while promoting teamwork and cooperation. Every actor is allowed to develop at their personal pace in a supportive and encouraging environment. The final class is an informal scripted performance with an invited audience of family and friends.

Summer Acting Camp

July 18 - 22 2011
We offer acting camp for 6 - teens for the week. Stage make-up, pre - combat, drama games, improv, scene work, movement, voice and FUN! Teen intensive is taught separately from the juniors.
Camp will be in the west end, likely at Kingston Christian School. Check back for confirmation, please. Full days, $250 + HST, half days $175 +hst. 8:30 (drop off until 9:00) - 5:15 (pick up from 5:00) daily.

Kingston-StLawrence District

The KCVI Drama Club is once again hosting the Kingston-St. Lawrence District Sears Drama Festival from Monday, March 21 through to Saturday, March 26. Due to the ongoing renovations in the auditorium, the venue for this year's Festival will be the Wellington Street Theatre. Shows will start at 7 pm sharp each night and tickets are $6 for students and seniors and $10 for adults. Passes for the entire week of shows will also be on sale at a cost of $15 for students and seniors and $25 for adults.

New Audition Notices

Two new notices posted for our summer shows, Romeo & Juliet and Beauty & the Beast. Come out and audition for these two fabulous shows! Pass this information along to others. Theatre is a relaxing place to have fun and meet new people.

We are also looking for crew for these shows. Please phone me (Anne Marie, 613-384-8433) if you are interested in Assistant Stage management, set crew, dresser, and make-up arts. No experience necessary, we train - you gain!
