"The Reality of Luck", produced by The Not So Amateur Amateurs and sponsored by the YMCA's Youth Gambling Awareness Program (YGAP.) The play looks at the dangers of gambling and the importance of making good choices in a fun way. Jimmy, the main character, starts with many bills in his wallet, which come to life and give him advice on how to spend them wisely. Lady Luck and Reality narrate the story and give commentary throughout. Jimmy's choices have consequences throughout the story which we can all learn from. The script is fast and witty, the characters are lovable and amusing, and the Not So Amateur Amateurs boasts an all star cast (some of their very talented and experienced young Kingstonian actors). Don't miss this amazing production which is appropriate and entertaining for all ages! |

A Midsummer Night's Dream
July 7th-August 1st Tues-Sat @ 8:00 P.M. |
|
| A Midsummer Night's Dream is one of Shakespeare's most accessible plays to actors and audiences alike. A romantic comedy and magical fantasy all rolled into one, with the piece de resistance being the hilariously bad play within a play, which closes the festivities off. A young dynamic cast makes this a must see for families. | |
