High School Plays for Teens
Sense and Sensibility and Til the Boys Come Home are great plays for teenaged boys and girls. Sense and Sensibility has been adapted from the novel by Jane Austen, and is a show that showcases young women. There are good male parts in the play as well, but the stars of the show are two teenaged girls, sisters who have lost their fortune. The play follows their romantic trials and tribulations.
Til the Boys Come Home is a mixed cast of teen-aged boys and girl, but it is more of a guys play. This is the story of the Second World War. Very emotional. There is music, singing and dancing from that time period. There is also a devastating battle scene. The play follows the lives of six young men from a small town as they enlist in the army. It is also the story of the girls they leave behind. It is a story of how the tragedy of war changes their lives forever.
